When to move your cot base down to the lower levels:

All the time your baby is immobile the advice is that it is ok to have the cot base on the highest level. Once your baby can start moving on their own, that includes rolling, or sitting up unaided, it's time to lower it to the next level.

Once your baby can pull themselves up, or stand up unaided it's time to move the cot base back to the lowest level of all.
