Healthy fluffy American style pancakes


1 egg

120g self raising flour 

190ml milk

Fruit topping - whatever you fancy!



1.) Throw everything in a bowl (hold the fruit) and mix well into a batter

2.) Heat a nonstick frying pan and use around 2 tablespoons of batter per pancake

3.) Super important step - As soon as you see one bubble, flip the pancake. This is how we achieve the fluffiness

4.) Keep an eye on them and cook for a further 1 minute. Transfer one on top of the other to create a yummy pancake stack



Create fruity toppings by mixing well known pancake favourites together such as blueberries and lemon or banana and strawberry. Alternatively place lots of different pre-cut fruit in bowls and let your little ones go crazy and design their own. 

If you wanted to add some chocolate chips in as well, this would be the perfect treat for pancake day.
